The Week in Photos:

A. and I went to a beautiful, romantic purple and silver wedding in the Hamptons last weekend. The glamorous bride and groom treated us to a special weekend, with a rehearsal dinner at a candlelit winery (we ate next to vines plump with red grapes) and a decadent wedding the next night. At the party, we were greeted by mini fish tacos with margaritas in tiny tequila bottles, and I ate one of almost everything else – mini polenta cakes with crispy pancetta, bacon on a breadstick (!), and tuna sashimi to name a few. At the after-party, A. and I got silly in the photo booth (and I ate some mini grilled cheese cubes – what? I was still a little hungry!) A whirlwind trip to NY and back, but absolutely worth every second!

Weekly Lunch Date #7

For dinner one night, I made Giada’s Simple Bolognese with fresh pasta – simply delicioso!

The yogurt trend is shifting

The yogurt trend is shifting – alternatives to Greek yogurt (like these sheep milk yogurts) are gaining popularity, and low-fat is falling out of favor. On the right is a recipe from Health magazine that calls for whole-milk yogurt.

Be well! See you for another mid-week lunch date next Wednesday!

So, what article or recipe are you most excited to read?

Love that photobooth pic. You guys are too cute!

Great reads this week. I especially enjoyed the article, “Weights before Cardio.” Interesting to learn that it really doesn’t matter what order you do them in or whether or not you work them on the same day. Goes back to my belief that whatever gets you moving is the best exercise for you!

And thanks for sharing the Puttanesca recipe 🙂
